Gopal General Store

You can find Gopal General Store at B15 in DLF Dilshad Extension 2, which is part of Shalimar Garden Extension 1 in Ghaziabad. We are right by Agrawal Chowk. The shop has been here for a good bit of time. It’s a standard general store where we stock the everyday items people in the flats around here usually run out of. The area has changed a lot over the years, more buildings and more cars now. We just stay in our little corner and keep things moving. My brother and I take turns sitting at the front. It gets a bit quiet in the afternoons, but the evenings are usually quite busy with people coming home from work. We don't have a big team or anything, just us. The shelves are mostly filled with food items and some household cleaning things. We try to keep things in the same place so people can find what they want without asking, but we move things around sometimes when new stuff comes in. Agrawal Chowk is a busy landmark, so we get a lot of people just passing through. It’s not a supermarket, just a local shop where you can grab what you need quickly. We use an old wooden counter that’s been here since we started. It’s a bit worn out but it does the job. We like being in Shalimar Garden and serving the folks that live nearby.
