Global Grocery

Global Grocery is based at Plot No. 12/25 in the Sunrise Industrial Area. Being in Mohan Nagar means we are surrounded by other workshops and small factories. It is a very industrial vibe here. We spend our hours unloading delivery trucks and stacking the shelves with things people need for their kitchens. It is a lot of heavy lifting and moving wooden crates across the concrete. The warehouse gets quite warm in the afternoon, so we leave the big metal shutters open for the breeze. We are not trying to be a massive supermarket; we just keep our stock in order. When you walk in, you will see rows of bags and boxes without any fancy decorations. It is all about the food and getting it to where it needs to go. We talk to suppliers all day and try to keep the paperwork straight. It is a very straightforward job. Sometimes the power in the industrial area goes out for an hour, and we just have to wait. We usually head to the tea stall down the road when we need a break from the warehouse. It is a regular life for us in Mohan Nagar. We keep the groceries moving and make sure the orders are ready for the morning delivery. The work is repetitive but it feels good to see the shelves full at the end of the day.
