Our office is tucked away in Lumbani Apartment, over in Sector-14 of Kaushambi. It’s Flat No. 84, so you have to head up and look for the door. Ghaziabad can be a bit of a maze if you aren't from around here, but once you find Kaushambi, it’s not too bad. We’ve been here for a bit, handling the Indian side of things for the brand. It’s a bit of a mix, having a Spanish name but being based in a regular apartment block in Uttar Pradesh. The space is filled with samples and papers mostly. It doesn't look like those sleek offices in the magazines, but it’s where we do all our thinking and planning. Usually, the morning starts with checking the emails that came in overnight. The apartment is actually quite comfortable, and it beats being in a crowded commercial building where you can't even open a window. We have a small kitchen area where we make lunch. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living in Ghaziabad, so we just wait it out or use the backup. We don't really do much advertising or anything loud. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they need something specific that only we happen to have here. It’s a steady way to work, and we like the local feel of the neighborhood. We share the lift with families and retirees, which keeps things very normal and grounded for us.
