Atul Mill Hardware Store

Our shop, Atul Mill Hardware Store, is located in the old part of Ghaziabad, near Delhi Gate. Specifically, we occupy units 201-204. It’s an old building, and you can feel the history of the area when you walk down the street. We’ve got a lot of metal and tools stacked up everywhere. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know where everything is. If you need a specific bolt or a particular tool, it’s probably buried in one of the drawers. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a GPS to find our way around the narrow lanes. The air usually smells like grease and iron. It’s a working man’s area. We don't get many tourists or random window shoppers. Most of our visitors are people who have a job to finish and need the right gear for it. We talk a lot about repairs and building things. The door is usually open to let a bit of a breeze in, though it mostly just brings in the noise from the traffic near the gate. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on people knowing us from years of being in the same spot. We keep the counter clear enough to count change and write out receipts. It’s a dusty, busy life, but it suits us well enough. We keep working until the shutters go down at night.
