G S Public School

G S Public School is situated in Nyay Khand Bihar, over in the Illaichipur part of Loni. If you know the Taj Height building, we’re basically right behind it. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but that helps keep the street noise down a little bit. We’ve got a regular brick building that serves as our home base. Most of the people working here are from the local area, so we understand the neighborhood well. It’s a simple school. We have the usual rows of desks and some charts on the walls to help the kids learn. There’s no big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and you’re right in the middle of where everything happens. We spend our days making sure the kids are in their seats and the teachers have what they need. Sometimes we have to deal with a broken chair or a clogged drain, just like any other building. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don't have a huge staff, so everyone chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it's sweeping the front step or helping a student with their work. The kids come from the nearby houses, and you can see them walking through the narrow lanes every morning. It’s just our little corner of Loni where we try to keep things running smoothly for the families around here. We just want the kids to finish their work and go home safe every afternoon.
