Working out of Flat No. F-3 in Surya Kiran Apartment isn't always easy, especially when the elevator is acting up. B-38 Rampratha Colony is a decent area, but being in an apartment means we have to be careful about making too much noise. We run Exim Pvt. Ltd. from the main room where we’ve set up some tables. The balcony has a few boxes stacked up that we haven’t found a better place for yet. It feels more like a home than a business sometimes, which has its ups and downs. You can hear the kids playing outside in the colony during the evenings. We spend a lot of time on the laptop or making calls to check on where things are. If someone needs to drop off a document, they usually have to ring the bell and wait a bit because the doorbell is a little temperamental. We’ve got a small kitchen where we make our own coffee because going out takes too long. Rampratha Colony is pretty busy in the mornings, so we try to get in early before the traffic gets bad. It’s just a handful of us here, trying to keep things organized. There’s a lot of paper everywhere, mostly invoices and shipping notes. We don't have a big sign outside, just the number on the door. It’s a simple setup for a simple business.
