Alico Exim

We are Alico Exim, and we operate out of Vaishali. It’s a good area to be in, though finding a parking spot can be a real headache some mornings. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a couple of rooms where we manage the export side of things. It’s not the kind of place that would win any design awards, but it works for what we need. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. There isn't much luxury here. We have a small table for lunch and a kettle that’s almost always on. Most of our day is spent making sure everything is ready for transport. Vaishali has a lot of energy, and we are just one small part of that. We don't have a big sign out front, just enough for people to know they’ve found the right place. The staff is just a few of us who have worked together for years. We don't really have a boss who sits in a separate office; we all just sit together and get on with it. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due, and we just order some food and keep going until the job is finished. It’s a practical, local business. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to do a good job from our little corner of Vaishali.
