If you’re looking for Dor-Umeed Ka Ek Dhaaga Foundation, we are at 622 Harbans Nagar in the Nand Gram area. It’s a busy little neighborhood and we’ve been part of it for a while now. We aren’t a big, fancy group with a lot of funding. We’re just a few people who had an idea and decided to make it happen right here in Harbans Nagar. The office is really just a simple space where we keep our records and meet up to talk about what needs to be done next. Nand Gram is a place where people work hard, and we try to do the same. We don’t use a lot of flowery language to describe ourselves because we think it’s better to be plain and honest. Our name, Dor-Umeed Ka Ek Dhaaga, means something to us, but we don't go around shouting it from the rooftops. We just want to be a small part of the solution for whatever problems our community is facing. Some days we’re busy from morning until night, and other days are a bit slower, but that’s just the nature of this kind of work. We aren't looking to become some national brand. We just want to do good work right here at number 622. It’s a modest setup, but it’s ours, and we’re proud of the effort we put in every day to keep things moving forward.
