Dingwall General Store

Dingwall General Store is tucked away in the Sunday Market area of Khora Colony. If you know Ghaziabad, you know how crowded it gets around here, especially when the weekend market starts up. We are right near Vinayak Property, so that’s a good landmark if someone is lost. The shop is mostly just a single room filled with whatever people in the colony might need at the last minute. I wake up early to get things ready before the sun gets too high. There’s always a bit of trash on the street outside, but that’s just part of being in a busy market zone. We have a lot of regular people who come in just to say hello while they pick up their household items. I don’t use any computers or anything; I just write things down in a notebook when I have to. The shelves are made of wood and they’ve seen better days, but they hold up the weight just fine. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but people find us anyway. Sometimes the noise from the market is so loud we have to shout to hear each other, but you get used to it after a year or two. We don’t have any fancy displays. Everything is just laid out where it fits. It's a practical spot for the locals who live nearby and don't want to travel far.
