Dinesh Provisional Store

Dinesh Provisional Store is tucked away in Hindan Vihar, right near the over bridge in Ghaziabad. We are also quite close to the Gaoushala Fatak, so you can often hear the cows or the traffic from the bridge. The shop is in a bit of a dusty corner of Prem Nagar. It’s a simple setup with metal shelves and a small counter where I sit. We sell the usual household stuff like soap, shampoo, and cooking oil. The neighborhood is mostly working people, so we stay busy in the evenings when everyone is coming home. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit muddy, and we have to clean the floor many times a day. We have a small fridge for milk and curd. It’s nothing fancy, just a place to get what you need for your kitchen. I’ve lived in Ghaziabad my whole life and this shop is my second home. My wife helps me organize the new stock when it arrives on the rickshaw. We don't have a big team, just us. We use an old calculator to add up the bills. Sometimes we run out of change and have to ask the neighbor for some. It’s just how things go here. We try to keep the staples in stock so people don’t have to go all the way to the main market. It's a quiet life despite the noise from the bridge.
