Devendra Provision Store

At Devendra Provision Store, we are usually dealing with the crowd from RKGIT college since we are so close to it. Being at 5 No Batta in Ghaziabad means there is always a mix of students and families coming in. The students are always looking for instant noodles or snacks late in the afternoon. Then the older folks come in looking for their specific brand of tea or some fresh dairy. I try to keep the shelves stocked, but sometimes it gets messy when I am in a hurry. The street outside is always a bit chaotic with rickshaws and people walking to the college. I have been working here for years and the shop has become like a second home to me. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody seems to mind. People just want their groceries without any fuss. I know which customer likes which bread and who always forgets to bring their own bag. It is a lot of standing and reaching for jars on the high shelves. My back hurts a bit by the time I lock up at night. Ghaziabad is a fast place, but inside here, things feel a bit more familiar. We don't do anything fancy, just sell what people need for their kitchens and bags. It keeps me going and pays the bills, so I am happy with how things are.
