Deepak General Store

Deepak General Store is located at number 445 in the Shalimar Housing Complex. We’re part of the Chhawra Colony in the Sahibabad area of Ghaziabad. It’s a pretty packed neighborhood, so there’s always something happening outside the door. I’ve been here for quite some time now, watching the kids in the colony grow up. The shop is small and tucked away, but it serves the housing complex well. We keep the basic stuff that families need. Sometimes I have to go pick up stock myself if the delivery van is busy elsewhere. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps me moving. My nephew comes in to help when I need to take a break or run an errand. We don't have fancy shelves, just some old wooden ones that have been here since we opened. They hold everything just fine. The floor is concrete and easy to sweep out at the end of the day. In the evenings, the colony gets busy with people coming back from work, so that’s our busiest time. We try to keep a bit of everything so no one has to walk too far. If the weather is bad, the shop gets a bit cramped because everyone wants to stand inside. It’s a friendly place though. We don't bother with anything corporate. Just a local store for the people living right here in Chhawra Colony. That’s enough for us to stay happy and busy.
