Daily Needs

Daily Needs is located at 557 in Sector 1 of Vaishali. We are right below the Allahabad Bank, which makes it easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. Ghaziabad is always moving, and being in this basement-level spot means we see a lot of feet walking past our window before people step down. The shop stays a bit cooler because of where it is, which is nice in the summer. We keep the daily essentials like milk, bread, and eggs right near the front. Further back, the shelves are piled with different soaps, shampoos, and packets of biscuits. It can get a little cramped when the delivery guys bring in new crates, but we manage to shift things around. The lighting inside is just regular tube lights that flicker sometimes if the power is acting up. We don't really do anything special, just stay open through the day. The sound of the bank customers upstairs is something we have gotten used to over the years. It is a steady rhythm of people coming and going. We often find ourselves helping someone who just stepped off the bus or is heading home from work. It’s a simple routine of checking what is low and making sure we have enough change in the drawer. Nothing too big happens here, just the usual life of a small neighborhood store keeping things moving for everyone in the sector.
