Copy House

Our place, Copy House, is in Dundahera, specifically inside Om Vihar Colony. We are right across from the Crossing Republic area. It is a busy little shop. We have a few big copying machines that make a lot of noise all day long. Sometimes they jam up, and I have to get my hands covered in black ink to fix them. People come in wanting things printed or scanned, and they are usually in a bit of a hurry. We see students, office workers, and people just needing a quick copy of their ID papers. It gets crowded in the afternoons when the local schools let out. The shop is not very large, so it can feel a bit tight when more than three people are waiting at once. We have a small wooden counter where we stack all the finished papers. It always smells like warm paper and toner in here. I started this because I liked the idea of having a small neighborhood business. It is not a glamorous job, but it is helpful for the people around here. We do not do any fancy advertising or anything. Most people just see the sign when they are walking by or coming from the colony. We try to keep the prices fair for everyone. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if a student has a big project due the next morning. It is just how we do things here in Dundahera for the folks around us.
