Cj D.A.V. Public School

You can find us over in L-Block of Shastri Nagar. It is a busy part of the area, and the school is a big part of the daily routine for many families living around here. We have kids of all ages coming in every morning, some walking from just a few streets over and others coming in on cycles. The day usually starts with everyone getting settled into their rooms. We have a lot of different classes going on at the same time, so it can get a bit hectic in the hallways during the changeover. The teachers are usually busy grading papers or setting up for the next lesson. We have been here long enough that we are seeing the younger siblings of our old students start their first year now. It is a plain building, nothing too fancy to look at, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time on the core subjects like math and science. There is a small area where the kids eat their lunch and talk. Sometimes the neighborhood noise drifts in, but the students are used to it by now. We don't have a lot of extra bells and whistles, just a place for kids to study and grow up. It feels like a second home for a lot of the staff who spend most of their lives here working with the local youth.
