Celaeno Helping Heart Foundation is located at 43, Baba Bhim Nagar. The pin code is 201009. It’s a simple house in a busy neighborhood. We don’t have a big sign on the roof, just a small plate by the door. The streets here are narrow, so parking is always a bit of a nightmare. Most of us just walk or take a rickshaw. The office inside is just two rooms. One is where we keep the computer and the other is for meeting people. It gets a bit cramped when more than three people show up at once. We’ve been working out of this spot for a few years now. Baba Bhim Nagar is a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business. That helps us in a way, because we always know what’s going on. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven’t gotten around to it yet. Most of our day is spent talking to folks from the local blocks. We listen to their problems and see if there’s any way we can help out. It isn’t complicated work, but it takes a lot of time. We aren’t a big organization with lots of money. We are just a few people trying to make things a little better in our own small way.
