Cafe Filmy

If you find yourself in Indirapuram, you might come across Cafe Filmy. It’s tucked away here and we spend our days making sure the tables are wiped down and the kitchen is ready. The name suggests a bit of a theme, but mostly it is just a place where people sit down for a bit to get away from the heat or the noise outside. We have some posters on the walls and chairs that have seen better days, but it’s comfortable enough. We aren't trying to be one of those fancy places you see in magazines. It’s just a cafe where the coffee smells good and the food is hot when it comes out. Some days it is really quiet and you can hear the clock ticking, and other days everyone shows up at once and we are running around trying to keep up. That’s just the way it works in Indirapuram. We know a lot of the college kids and the office workers who come in for their breaks. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a lot of work, keeping everything running and making sure the fridge is stocked, but it’s what we do. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, nothing more and nothing less. We just focus on the orders and making sure people have a place to sit.
