Cafe Bite

Down here in Sarita Vihar, specifically around Aali Vihar 5, things stay pretty active because of Som Bazar. Cafe Bite is just a small place we opened up to give people somewhere to sit for a minute. It’s not a big restaurant with white tablecloths or anything like that. We have some tables and chairs and we serve what we have on the menu that day. The neighborhood is usually loud and there’s always someone walking past the door. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the lunch crowd and getting ready for the evening. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a market day. It's just the way it works out here. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the food is ready when someone walks in. It’s honest work. Most of our regulars live right around the corner. They come in, eat, and head back to whatever they were doing. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a cafe in a busy part of town where you can get something to eat without any fuss. The address is pretty easy to find if you know where the bazaar is. We’re just there every day, doing the same thing, hoping the weather stays decent so people keep coming out. It is what it is, just a local spot for a quick bite.
