You can find us over at the East Delhi Mall in Kaushambi. We are on the first floor, specifically at 18/21. Being in a mall is a bit different from having a shop on the street because everything is under one roof and the air conditioning is usually running all day long. We spend a lot of time just organizing the racks and checking the labels on the clothes to make sure they are correct. Biba Apparels has been in this spot for a bit, and we see a lot of people walking by while they do their weekend shopping with their families. The mall can get really busy on Saturdays and Sundays, so we mostly stay behind the counter or help someone find a size they can't see on the rack. It's not a huge place, just a standard unit where we try to keep things tidy for everyone. Sometimes the music from the other shops nearby is a bit loud, but you get used to the noise after a few weeks. We don't have a big story to tell or anything like that. We just open up in the morning when the mall security lets us in and stay until the lights go down at night. Working on the first floor means we see everyone coming up the escalators from the main entrance. It’s a straightforward job, really. We just make sure the clothes are hung up right and the floor stays clean enough for people to walk around.
