Bhupendra General Store

Our shop, Bhupendra General Store, is at 206 in Som Bazar, which is part of Khora Colony in Ghaziabad. We are located right near Minerva Public School. This makes the area very lively, especially when school starts and ends. We get a lot of kids coming in for pencils, erasers, and small snacks. We also cater to the families living in Khora Colony, selling everyday items like spices, grains, soaps, and oils. Som Bazar is a very active market area, and there is always something going on outside our door. We have been here for a good while and have seen the neighborhood grow. The store is not very large, so we have to be clever about how we stack our goods. Sometimes it feels a bit overwhelming when too many people come in at once, but we manage to serve everyone eventually. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We are just here to sell goods to our neighbors at a price they can afford. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the stock and cleaning the jars, but we are used to it. We open the doors early every day and stay until the market starts to quiet down at night. It’s a simple, honest living, and we are glad to be a part of this community in Ghaziabad. We don't use computers much; we just keep things moving by hand and memory mostly.
