Bansal Provisional Store

Bansal Provisional Store is located in Khora Colony, right in Gali No.-7. This part of Ghaziabad is always crowded and a bit noisy, especially since we are near Tagore Public School. When the school bell rings in the afternoon, the whole street fills up with kids wanting sweets or pens. We have to be quick then because things can get a bit chaotic. Our shop in Deepak Vihar isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of wall space for hanging packets of chips and shampoo. The dust from the road is a constant battle, and we are always wiping down the glass jars. We sell a bit of everything—flour, pulses, soap, and notebooks. It’s the kind of place where people come when they only need one or two things for dinner. My hands are usually a bit dusty from handling the sacks of grain, but that is part of the job. Ghaziabad life is fast, and people are often in a hurry, so we try to get them their change as fast as we can. We have been in Gali No.-7 for a long time, and we’ve seen the kids from the school grow up and start coming in as adults. It makes the long hours in this small room feel like they mean something to the community.
