Avs Industrial Training Centre

Avs Industrial Training Centre is situated near the Vijay Nagar Police Station. We are quite close to NH 24, so you can hear the trucks and buses going by all day long. It’s an industrial sort of area, which really fits the kind of training we do here. We help people learn trades and technical skills that they can actually use to get jobs. The building is older and a bit worn down, but it has enough space for the equipment we need to teach. We aren't trying to be a fancy college or a high-end school. It’s more about getting your hands dirty and learning how things work in the real world. Most of our students come from the surrounding parts of Vijay Nagar and live nearby. We spend a lot of time in the workshop area rather than at desks. It can get pretty hot in there during the summer months, but we have a few fans. We have a small office where we keep the paperwork and files, but we are rarely in it. My father started this place years ago, and I’ve been running it for a while now. We know the local shopkeepers and the police officers from the station next door. It’s a decent community to be part of. We don't put on airs or pretend to be something we aren't. We just provide a place for people to learn a skill so they can find decent work. It’s a bit messy with all the tools around, but that’s just how it is.
