Army Public School

Army Public School is tucked away in Sec-37. It has a specific feel to it because of the area we are in. The day starts quite early here, usually with a lot of structure. You’ll see the kids arriving in their uniforms, looking sharp, though there’s always someone with an untucked shirt. The grounds are kept fairly tidy, and we take some pride in that. It’s not just about the lessons in the books; it’s about the whole vibe of the place. We have a lot of space for the students to move around, which is nice for this part of the city. The staff here are mostly local people who have been around for a long time. We know the families and the siblings who come through the grades year after year. There is a lot of chatter in the staff room about lesson plans and upcoming exams. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it’s too dusty or too wet to go outside, but we adapt. We have the usual school problems like leaky taps or a computer that won’t start, and we just deal with them as they come up. It’s a very grounded place. We don’t go in for anything too fancy. It’s just a school where we try to keep things moving forward. The bell at the end of the day is always the loudest sound you’ll hear, marking the time everyone heads home to their families.
