You can find Advantech Handicraft Private Limited over at B-15/4 in Site-IV. We’re right on the main road of the Sahibabad Industrial Area in Ghaziabad. It’s a prime spot if you like watching trucks go by all day long. We’ve been here for a while, working on various handicraft items that we put together and send out. The building is a typical industrial unit with high ceilings and a lot of storage space. Since we’re on the main road, it’s easy for people to find us, though the traffic in Ghaziabad can be a real headache during the morning rush. Inside the warehouse, it’s usually a bit cooler than outside, which is a relief in the summer. We have people who know their way around the different types of materials we use. It isn't a silent place; there is always someone hammering something or the sound of packing tape being pulled off the roll. We keep a small office space for the paperwork and the computer, but the real work happens out on the floor. We don't have a receptionist or anything. If you walk in, you just find whoever is closest to the door. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many small pieces of handicrafts, things can get a little messy during the peak seasons. It’s just the way it goes when you’re making things by hand.
