Aamrapali Saree Center

You can find us at III-M-40 in Nehru Nagar. It’s a residential and commercial mix around here. Aamrapali Saree Center isn't a massive showroom. It’s a practical shop where we keep a good selection of sarees. We spend our days mostly organizing the stock and talking to whoever walks in. Nehru Nagar is a decent place to be. We have been at this address for quite some time now. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. The lighting is basic and we use fans to keep the air moving. When someone comes in, we pull out different sarees and spread them out so they can see the fabric properly. It’s a process. Folding them back up perfectly takes a lot of practice. My wife helps me out during the busy wedding seasons. We don't really bother with advertisements. Most of our customers are people who live nearby or heard about us from a relative. We try to keep things honest. If a saree isn't the right quality, we won't put it on the shelf. We just want to run a steady business at III-M-40. It’s not about being the biggest shop in town. It’s just about being here and having what people are looking for. We open up around ten and stay until the evening. It’s a routine that works for us.
