Shri Rajasthan Bhojanalaya

You can find us right on Shaeed Road in Gaya, just across from the Krishna Mistanna Bhandar near Tower Chowk. It’s a very central part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. We’ve been running this bhojanalaya for some time now. We don't do anything fancy here. It is just a place to get a good, solid meal that tastes like it was made in a home kitchen. The menu is mostly traditional stuff that we grew up eating. We start early in the morning to get the lentils and vegetables ready for the lunch crowd. Since we are near Tower Chowk, we get a lot of travelers and local shopkeepers coming in. The space isn't huge, so sometimes you might have to share a table with someone you don't know, but that's just how it is here. We try to keep the floors swept and the water jugs filled. It's a simple life, cooking and serving food all day. We don't use much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just see our sign or hear about us from someone else who ate here. We aren't trying to be a five-star restaurant. We just want to make sure no one goes away hungry. It’s a busy spot, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street outside. We keep things plain and simple for everyone who visits.
