Rana Bricks

Rana Bricks is situated in Village Shadipur, in the Ts Buniyadganj area. We are located very close to Buniyadganj Place, so we are easy to spot if you are in the neighborhood. This is a family-run business and my brothers and I do most of the work ourselves. We start our day very early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. Working around the kiln is always warm and dusty, so you have to be prepared for that. We don't care much for formal meetings or corporate talk. Usually, we just sit together with some tea and decide what needs to be done for the day. Life in the village is generally quiet, but our yard stays active with tractors coming and going. Sometimes the soil we get isn't quite right, and we have to wait for a better batch. You learn to be patient when you work with the earth like this. We have seen some very difficult rainy seasons that nearly shut us down, but we always find a way to keep going. We don't bother with advertisements or commercials. We think that if the bricks are good, people will tell their friends. If a neighbor is struggling, we try to be fair with them because that is how things work here. It is just us and the fire and the clay, every single day.
