Vayu Band

So, Vayu Band is basically run out of our place here in N-323, Jalvayu Vihar. If you have ever been to Sector 25 in Noida, you know it is mostly residential and quiet, except when we are getting ready for a gig. We have been here for a while, and the neighbors are used to us by now, I think. We keep our instruments in the back room. It is not a big studio or anything, just a regular house where we gather to talk about the music and the dates we have coming up. When we get a booking, we just pack up the gear and go. It can be a bit of a mess with all the wires and the drums taking up space in the hallway. My wife usually complains that there is no room to walk, but that is just how it is. We do not have a big sales team or a fancy website. Usually, people just hear about us from someone else who saw us play at a wedding or a local function. We like the vibe in Jalvayu Vihar because it is central and easy to get to other parts of Noida from here. Sometimes we just sit out on the balcony and wait for the phone to ring. It is a simple life, and we are not trying to be superstars. We just enjoy playing and making sure the rhythm is right for whatever party we are at.
