Bikano Chat Cafe

You can find us up on the second floor of The Great India Place Mall, specifically at shops 210 and 212. It gets pretty loud in the mall, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. Bikano Chat Cafe is our little spot where we serve snacks and street food. It’s a busy kitchen. The staff is usually running around trying to keep the tables clean and get the orders out. We don't have a fancy dining room with tablecloths. It’s just a regular cafe setup where people come to take a break from walking around the shops. We go through a lot of ingredients every day, so the delivery guys are always coming in and out. Sometimes the line gets long and people have to wait, which we know can be annoying. We just try to keep the food consistent. The kitchen is small, so it gets hot in there during the lunch rush. We've been in GIP for a while now, seeing stores come and go, but we’re still here doing our thing. It's not a quiet job. There is always the sound of the crowd and the smell of spices in the air. We aren't trying to be a five-star restaurant. We just want to make sure the tea is hot and the snacks are what people expect when they sit down. It’s a simple business, really. We open up, prep the food, and serve whoever walks in for a quick bite.
