We are based at 565K/110 in the Amrudahibagh part of Alambagh, Lucknow. It’s a local spot and we’ve become part of the scenery over the years. VAMAN INFRABUILD PRIVATE LIMITED is what we call our business, and mostly we just deal with building things from the ground up. Whether it is a small renovation or a bigger structure, we put in the time. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with some desks, chairs, and a lot of folders. We spend more time out in the sun than in the air conditioning anyway. Amrudahibagh is a decent place to be, and being in Lucknow means there is always something under construction nearby. We work with a lot of local workers who have been around for a long time. We know their families and they know ours. It makes the work feel a bit more personal than those big companies you see in the news. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India, we just want to get through the jobs we have. Sometimes we run into delays with materials or the weather doesn't cooperate, but we just keep pushing through. That's just how the building trade works. You have to be patient and keep your tools ready. Most evenings you’ll find us here finishing up the paperwork before heading home to rest up for the next morning. It's a lot of physical labor and checking on supplies.
