Our place is on the first floor of E-81 in Sector-63, Noida. If you know the area you know it is mostly industrial and can get quite loud with all the activity going on around us. We have been working from this office for a bit now and it serves us well for what we do. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of phone calls to the foremen at various sites. We spend a good chunk of our time making sure the materials like sand and steel are where they need to be. It is not always easy because the roads around Gautam Buddha Nagar can be unpredictable. Inside the office, things are pretty basic with just enough chairs for the crew and a coffee machine that gets a lot of use. We do not really do the whole polished business look. We are more comfortable in jeans and work boots because we are often out checking on the masonry or the foundations. There are usually stacks of drawings piled up in the corner and someone is always looking for a lost pen. It is a busy atmosphere but we like it that way. Most of the time we are just focused on the task at hand and making sure we do not fall behind schedule. It is regular construction work with all the usual ups and downs that come with the territory.
