India Exposition Mart. We are located at Knowledge Park 2 in Greater Noida, specifically across plots 23-25 and 27-29. It’s a huge area. Honestly, some days I feel like I walk five miles just going from one end of the halls to the other. When there’s a big exhibition on, the whole place transforms. It goes from being a quiet, empty set of buildings to a total madhouse with thousands of people everywhere. My job and the jobs of the others here involve a lot of walking around with clipboards and walkie-talkies. We’re constantly checking if the electrical points are working or if the security guards are at their posts. It’s not just about the big events though; there is a lot of boring maintenance that happens when no one is around. We have to make sure the roofs don't leak and the toilets are clean. The commute to Gautam Budh Nagar can be long for some of us, but we’re used to it now. We don't have a lot of time for fancy lunches, so it's usually just something quick at the desk. The scale of this place is what hits you first. It takes a lot of regular people doing small, unglamorous things to keep a place this big running. We just focus on the task in front of us and hope the traffic isn't too bad when it's time to head home after a long shift at the mart.
