Grill Point

We’re over in Sector 28 of Noida, inside the Alalnanda Shopping Complex. Most people know the Jaipuria Plaza on the main road, and we’re right there. It’s a lively spot because the Brahmaputra Market is just across the way. That market brings in so many people, so there’s always something happening outside our door. The shop isn't very big. We have a few tables inside and some people prefer to stand outside while they eat. I’ve been working here for about two years now. We start the day by cleaning the grill and setting out the chairs. The traffic on the main road can be pretty loud, but you get used to the honking after a while. We get a mix of office workers during the day and families in the evening. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just cook the food and hand it over. Sometimes the delivery guys are lined up outside, which makes the entrance a bit crowded. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a small space, so it gets messy sometimes. My hands are usually covered in flour or spices by noon. It’s a decent place to work. We know most of the other shop owners in the plaza, so we often grab tea together when it's quiet. It feels like a little community here in the middle of Noida’s bustle. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
