Goyal Dhaba

Goyal Dhaba is located at Shop 26 in the Amritpuram Market area of Greater Noida. It is a small spot right near the Jagat Farm area, which stays pretty crowded most evenings with shoppers. We have been here for a bit, serving the students and the office people who live in the nearby apartments. It is a very basic setup. We have a few tables out front and a tandoor that stays hot all day long. You can see the smoke coming out from the back window. The market is always noisy, with cars honking and people shouting, but it feels lively. We do not have fancy waiters in uniforms or anything like that. It is just me and a couple of boys helping out with the orders. We do our best to get the food out fast because people are usually in a hurry to get home. On winter nights, the heat from the stove feels good, but in the summer, it is a bit of a struggle for us in the kitchen. We do not do much in terms of decoration. There are some old posters on the wall and the lights are a bit dim. Most people come for the food, not the look of the place. We often run out of certain vegetables or dal by the end of the night. If you come late, you just take whatever is left. It is a simple life running a dhaba.
