It’s a residential area, so it’s quieter than the commercial blocks downtown. Noida has grown so much lately. We are right in the middle of Gautam Buddha Nagar. Working from an apartment like this keeps our overheads low. We don’t need a flashy storefront. Most of our work is out at various sites anyway. We do contracting work for all sorts of projects around the area. It started a few years back with just a couple of us. Now we have a proper name and an office to sit in during the day. Sometimes things go wrong at a site and we have to rush out to fix it. That’s just the nature of contracting. It’s not a 9-to-5 kind of life. We are usually up early and checking messages before the sun is fully up. The flat gets a bit crowded when we have meetings with everyone. But it’s comfortable enough for what we need to get done.
