Foodfellas

You can find us at Plot Number 2 B in Sector 126. We are right by the Noida Express Way. It’s 201303. The sound of cars zooming by on the expressway is something you get used to after a while. Foodfellas is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s an area with a lot of big buildings and offices. We aren't like the big companies around here, though. We are just a small team trying to keep things running. The mornings are spent organizing the kitchen and making sure we are ready for the lunch rush. People from the offices nearby come over when they have a break. They usually have their badges on and are talking about work. We just listen and keep working. The shop has a plain look. We didn't hire a designer or anything. We just put in what was necessary. Sometimes the wind from the expressway blows a lot of leaves toward our door. We have to sweep them away. It’s a lot of manual labor. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to finish the day having done a decent job. The lights stay on until the last order is out. Then we clean up and do it all again tomorrow. It's just a regular life here in Sector 126. It gets a bit lonely after the office crowds leave in the evening, but there is always something to clean or fix before we head home for the night.
