Fair Design India Pvt Ltd is located over at A-37, Sector-80. It’s an industrial area, so it gets a bit dusty and loud during the day with all the heavy trucks going by the gates. We’ve been in this building for a long time now. Most of our day is spent at drafting tables or looking at various samples of materials. We do a lot of designing, obviously, but it’s more about the technical side of how things fit together. It’s not just drawing pretty pictures all day. We spend a lot of time arguing over measurements and making sure the prototypes actually hold up under pressure. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks, some half-finished projects, and way too many pens. We like being in Sector-80 because everything we need is nearby. We’ve got a small crew here, and everyone knows their job. Some of us have been here since the start, while others are newer. We don’t really do fancy meetings. Usually, we just stand around a table and figure out the next step together. It’s a messy process sometimes. Designing things for production takes a lot of patience and a lot of redoing work. We just keep at it until it’s right. It’s steady work and we like the rhythm of it. If you come by A-37, you’ll see we’re usually pretty deep in whatever project is on the floor that week. Just a bunch of designers working hard.
