We are based out of Jangal Hakim No 2 in the Chokidar Tola area of Gorakhpur. Our place is right there in Sadar, and if you’re from around here, you probably know the neighborhood. Dikan Industries is a local operation through and through. We deal with industrial work, which means a lot of time spent in the shop or coordinating with suppliers across Uttar Pradesh. It's not the cleanest job, but it’s what we know. There’s always something that needs fixing or a part that hasn't arrived on time, so we spend a lot of our morning sorting out those little problems. We aren't some giant corporation from the city; we’re just local people working in Gorakhpur. The office isn't much to look at, just a desk, some chairs, and a lot of paperwork related to the industry. We started this business because we wanted to work for ourselves and build something in our own community. Most of our days are spent making sure the operations are running smoothly at the 273014 zip code. We don’t use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just work with the tools we have and try to make sure our output is solid. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes even Sundays if there’s a big job pending. We just keep our heads down and work. It’s loud and greasy sometimes, but that is just the nature of industrial life in Sadar.
