Our office is located at F4 & 5 on the 5th floor of the Wave Silver Tower in Sector 18. It’s a busy part of town, and being on the 5th floor gives us a bit of a view, though we mostly just look at our desks. We are in the bakery business, so a lot of our time is spent talking about biscuits and cookies. We aren't the ones actually baking in this office—that happens at the plants—but we handle all the planning and the orders from here. It gets a bit hectic, especially around the holidays when everyone wants biscuits. The office usually has a few open packets of new recipes we are trying out. We aren't a corporate giant with a thousand rules; we’re just a group of people who know how a good biscuit should taste. We spend a lot of time on the phone with distributors and checking on the production lines. Sometimes things go wrong, a batch isn't right or a truck breaks down, and we have to solve it quickly. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just want to make sure the shops have enough stock on the shelves. The team here is pretty close, and we’ve been working together for a long time. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but we try to keep it light. Sector 18 is always loud, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years.
