Ajm Homes Developers Private Limited is based in Sector 36 of Greater Noida, specifically at B-030. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you’re coming from the main city, but the space is nice. We basically spend our time looking at blueprints and arguing with contractors. Building homes in Greater Noida is different than the older parts of the state because everything is so spread out. You need a car just to get a decent lunch. Our office is just a regular house setup where we keep our maps and site plans. It’s not very formal. We might be in the middle of a meeting and someone’s kid will walk in, or the internet will go down because of the weather. That’s just life here. We focus on getting the structures solid and making sure the walls are straight. It takes a lot of time to get everything lined up with the local regulations and all that. The 201310 area code is where we do most of our running around. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to do enough work to keep the lights on and the staff paid. Most days are just a mix of site visits and phone calls to suppliers who are running late with the bricks. It’s messy work but someone has to do it. We're just glad to be working in Gautam Buddha Nagar where there is still room to build.
