Tripati Rice Mill

Tripati Rice Mill is located in Tarasingi village, which is under the Bhanjanagar taluka. We are very close to the local police station. You can’t miss us because of the sound of the hulling machines and the smell of raw rice in the air. It is a loud place to work, but we are used to it. We handle the rice processing for many of the farmers in this part of the district. The mill is a big, open structure and it gets very hot inside during the summer months. We don't have an air-conditioned office or fancy furniture. Most of our time is spent on the floor making sure the machines are running right. Tarasingi is a quiet village, but the mill is always humming. We have a small crew of local workers who have been with us for a long time. We don’t bother with big speeches or trying to look professional. We just focus on getting the rice ready. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we spend the whole day covered in grease trying to fix it. It’s hard physical work. We open early in the morning when the air is still cool and work until the day’s load is finished. It’s just how things have always been done here. We are just a local mill doing our part in the village.
