B Ch Sahu Rice Mill

B Ch Sahu Rice Mill is located in Arakhapur village, right near the Sai Mandir. If you are coming through Purushottampur, you can’t really miss the sound of the machines running. We’ve been here for years, working with the local grain and helping the farmers around the taluka get their rice ready for the market. The mill is an old building, and it shows its age, but the equipment still does what it is supposed to do. We spend a lot of time hauling heavy bags and making sure the dryers are working properly. It is physical work, and the heat in the summer makes it even tougher inside the shed. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that, we just rely on the folks in the village knowing where we are. Sometimes the rain slows things down because we can't move the paddy around easily. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. They know the machines better than anyone. It’s a simple life out here, focused on the harvest cycles and making sure the quality of the rice is decent enough for people to eat. We don't make any big claims, we just run the mill every day and handle the orders as they come in. There is always a layer of husk on the floor that we have to sweep up at the end of every single shift.
