Our office for Karpara Project Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is situated right on College Road in Bhanjanagar. It’s in the Ganjam district of Orissa, and the pin code is 761126. The office is actually at the residence of the late Sasibhusana Rath’s son, so it has a very personal, local feel to it. Working on College Road means there is usually some activity nearby, with students and locals always passing by. We do a lot of engineering work here, though it might not look like a big industrial hub from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us dealing with various project documents and technical drawings. We’ve been part of this community for a long time, and the office reflects that. It’s not one of those modern, sterile offices you see in the big cities. It has more of a traditional Orissa town feel. We spend our mornings going through the mail and checking on project progress, and the afternoons are usually for more focused engineering tasks. Sometimes the power goes out, or it gets really dusty, but we just deal with it and keep moving. It’s a practical workplace where we focus on the jobs we have in front of us. We don't spend much time on decorations or anything that isn't necessary for the work. Most of our neighbors know us, and it’s a fairly quiet place to get things done. We just keep our heads down and get through the work.
