Consultanting Engineer

You can find our little office over in Berhampur, specifically at Quarter Number 12 in Vishala Enclave. It’s a quiet enough spot here in Orissa, tucked away from the main noise of the bigger cities. Being a consulting engineer means there is always a lot of drawing and checking going on at the desks. We’ve been at this address, 760001, for a good while. The rooms are a bit cluttered with rolls of plans and old notebooks, but that’s just how we work. It isn't a corporate glass building or anything like that. It’s more of a practical space where we can actually think and get things done without too much distraction. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we just wait it out or find something else to do. People in the enclave know us by now. We see the same faces every morning when we walk in. It’s a nice community feeling. We don't have a big front desk or a lobby, just the door and our workspace. Mostly, we just focus on the technical side of things. There is a small tea stall not far from here where we usually get our afternoon break. It helps to clear the head. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years and it feels like home to us. Just engineers doing what we know how to do. It isn't glamorous, but it is honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Friday. We keep it simple.
