Bhumijana Agro Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in Bendalia. Our base is at House No. B-20. This is in the Ganjam district, which is a place known for its farming. We are just a bunch of local guys who decided to team up. We grow all sorts of things depending on what time of year it is. Ganjam has its own way of doing things, and we try to stick to that. Our office isn't much to look at. It’s basically just a house where we keep our tools and our records. We don't have any secretaries or big signs. Usually, you’ll find one of us sitting there or out in the back working on something. We spend a lot of time talking about the weather because that's what matters most to us. If it doesn't rain, we're in trouble. If it rains too much, it's also a problem. We just try to help each other get through the season. We don't use any of those big corporate slogans. We just want to make sure we can sell our produce for enough to keep the farms running next year. It’s a lot of physical labor and sometimes our backs hurt, but we’re proud of what we grow here. People in the village know us and we know them. It’s a small community and we just try to do our part. Everyone is helpful when the harvesting starts. We share the load and get it done.
