Prayas Knowledge World

Prayas Knowledge World is based in the Narnavat Gram Panchayat area. We are located near the Jlndva post office over in Dehgam. This place is more of a small learning center than a typical business office. We deal with books and some other educational materials for the kids. It is a quiet spot which is good for what we are trying to do here. The building is very simple and we don't have any big neon signs out front. Most of our visitors are students or parents from around the Dehgam area. We try to keep a good variety of things available on the shelves. It is not a huge operation at all. Just a few rooms with some shelves and a couple of desks for people to use. We spend our days organizing the stock and helping people find exactly what they need for their studies. It is a local effort. We wanted to have something like this here in the village so people didn't have to travel so far to the city. We don't use any fancy teaching methods or anything like that. We just provide the resources that are needed. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon but we just open the windows and keep on going. It is a very grounded place. We don't claim to be experts in everything. We just like having books around and helping out where we can. If you are in Narnavat you will find us easily.
