Academic Foundation School

Our school is located at 87 A Ward in the New Bunglow Area of Sahijpur Bogha. It’s a part of the city that feels a bit older and more established than the new developments. The school itself is housed in an area that used to be mostly residential. It isn't a modern glass building. It’s more of a traditional structure with thick walls and a lot of history to it. We have been here for many years now. Many of the parents who bring their kids here actually went to this school themselves back in the day. It’s a bit of a cycle like that for the neighborhood families. The playground is small and has some old trees that have been there forever. We don't have the latest computers in every room, but we have enough for the kids to learn the basics. The daily routine is very set in stone. Assembly starts the day, then classes, then a break for lunch when everyone eats their tiffins. It’s a very predictable place to work or study. We don’t do a lot of shouting about how great we are. We just focus on the daily tasks of teaching and grading papers. Sometimes the neighborhood gets a bit noisy with the local traffic, but once you are inside the gates, it feels like its own little world. We have a small staff who have been with us for a long time. It’s just a steady school.
