Our place is at Plot No. 8 in the Shayona Estate Part-2, which you can find right near the Auda Water Tank. It’s a busy spot in Gota, especially since the Silver Oak Engineering College is just behind us. There are always a lot of students and traffic around here during the day. We have been operating Hindustan Foods & Beverages Co. from this location for a while now. The building is pretty standard for the estate, with big metal doors and high ceilings. We spend most of our hours loading crates and making sure the inventory is right. It gets really hot in Ahmedabad, so we try to get the heavy work done before the afternoon sun hits the roof too hard. The office part is small, just enough room for a desk and a few chairs for when someone comes by to talk business. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. People just know we are here. Sometimes the neighbors from other plots come over to borrow a tool or just to chat for a minute. It is a loud area with all the trucks going in and out, but we are used to it by now. We focus on getting the food and beverage items out the door without too much fuss. It is hard work, but it keeps us busy and we like the rhythm of it all. We have been part of this estate for years and know the security guards well.
