Costa Coffee

We’ve been at this spot in Shivpark Tenament for a good while now. Most mornings start early with the smell of beans grinding and that loud hiss from the steam wand. It’s a pretty busy corner here in Ahmedabad, so we see all sorts of people coming through the door. Some folks stay for hours to work on their laptops, and others just want a quick cup before they head off to work or catch a bus. We try to keep the chairs tidy and make sure there's enough milk in the fridge. Sometimes the line gets a bit long around lunch, but we do our best to keep things moving along. It isn't a fancy setup, just a simple place with some tables, chairs, and coffee. We keep a few snacks in the glass case by the counter, mostly just sandwiches or those little cakes if someone is looking for a bite. The sunlight in the late afternoon hits the front window in a nice way, which makes it a decent spot to sit and think for a bit. Most of the people who come in live right here in the neighborhood, so we’ve gotten to know their names and exactly how they like their drinks. We aren't out here trying to do anything grand, just making drinks and sweeping the floor when the day ends. If you’re walking near the 279 area, you can’t miss us. It’s just how we spend our days.
