Anand Agricultural University

We've been around here in the Talalibag area for quite a while now. Most people know us as Anand Agricultural University, and we just do our work day in and day out. It gets pretty busy around the campus, especially when the planting season starts or when students are running around between classes. We handle a lot of different things related to farming and research, mostly focusing on what grows best in this climate. The address is a bit of a mouthful, A Pshahabaj Talalibag in Distraigad, sitting right on that line near Maharashtra and Gujarat. It’s a big place with lots of land to look after. People come here to learn about crops, soil, and how to keep things growing properly. We aren't trying to do anything fancy, just keeping the traditions of farming alive while looking at new ways to help the local fields. The sun gets hot out here, but there is always something to do in the labs or out on the dirt. Some days are quieter than others, but that is just how it goes with agriculture. We have a lot of staff who have been here for years and they know the land better than anyone else. It's just a place where work gets done and we try to share what we know with whoever stops by or signs up for a course. Nothing more, nothing less.
